This year, Carter turned 6 years old and he decided to have his first friend birthday party! He had an absolute blast with his friends at McDonalds, it was so wonderful to see him so happy and feel so special! I was very happy that had the party at McDonalds because it could keep everyone entertained and I didn't have to do any work for it while being 6 months pregnant!
Ivan, Cody, Will, and Gordon came to celebrate with Carter, they are all his friends from his Kindergarten class, except Will, who is a long time friend.
The plan was to get ice cream for all the kids, but the machine was broken, so that lead to more expensive milkshake for everyone!

The next morning was Carter's real birthday, and he got to open family gifts in the morning before we went to church. Carter, you are such a cool kid, and we love the person that you are! You are so dependable, and responsible (for only being 6). You have such a big heart and you love your family so much! You did so well in school this year and loved you loved it! For your birthday, on of the things you received was piano books because you wanted to learn how to play the piano! Thank you for making us laugh and adding so much love to our family! We love you so much!
