Macy's Birthday/ January 2013

I had my first pregnancy ultrasound this month at 8 weeks,and everything looked good so Dan and I told the kids that we were gonna have a baby!  Trey's reaction was pretty funny, he always gets excited for stuff, he had slammed his hands down on the table and had a big surprised look on his face!  The other kids thought that it was cool and we told them that it was our secret for now.  We were super surprised that they actually kept the secret all the way till we announced it to everyone around 12 weeks.  We also told our parents about it around 9-10 weeks.  I was very nervous for this pregnancy to progress.  After a miscarriage last year, it was really hard to shake it off, and believe that this pregnancy would stick.  I rented a doppler at 10 weeks just so I could hear the heartbeat every few days and that was very helpful to keep me more calm.

Also in January we celebrated Macy's 4th birthday!!!  She loved everything about her birthday and cannot wait until she can have another one!  Below is a picture with her new minky quilt that Grandma Hymas made for her!

And here is Macy and Kaylee's new playhouse that they get to share for their birthdays this year.  Below also shows Macy with her new puppy pillow pet from Grandma Lewis that she also loves!

Macy, you are such a beautiful spirit that graces our family!  You are so excited that you can do many more things all by yourself now that you are bigger!  You want to do and follow your brothers in everything that they do!  You are best friends with your little sister Kaylee and you are so kind to share with her!  Although you don't know it, she looks up to you and your example and copies everything that you do!  And yes, you still LOVE to go shopping and paint your nails.  You don't like getting your hair done although you are very patient with me when I do it.  You also have been getting into mischief  pouring water all over the carpets and coloring all over the walls!  You are very smart and you loved going to a short term preschool this fall learning letters, and loving to draw pictures!  We love you so much!
