Lewis Family Reunion ~July Part 1

In July our family flew to California to visit my family.  It was the first time we flew with more than one child, and it was pretty tough for Kaylee (or should I say the people sitting around us?) but so nice to make the trip in just one day!  Macy and Kaylee still threw up in Grandma's car on the drive from the airport to their house :( .  We arrived on a Monday night and on Tuesday we went to a lake with Grandma, Aunt Jen and cousins Ryan, Kevin and Darren. Wednesday was the Fourth of July and we had a big party and bbq at Grandma and Grandpa's house....

Macy telling a secret to cousin Kevin...

Here are some of us gathered for a special FHE where we listened to Grandpa give a lesson on our flag and Grandma then gave a special spotlight moment for each grandchild telling everyone about their special gifts and personalities from oldest (Trey) down to youngest (Kaylee).  At our home, Carter is so used to going next after Trey's turn, that he was beside himself that he had to wait to be spotlighted for three other cousins were between his and Trey's age.  On the Lewis side there are currently 10 grandchildren - 8 grandsons and 2 granddaughters, all 7 years of age and under.

Carter and Macy got to pick the opening song for FHE ~ Do As I'm Doing, Carter style.

Here are the grandkids singing, "Army of Helaman" for the closing song.  Very special!

Then we went outside for a street fireworks show that Uncle Aaron put on and Grandpa funded!
We had a great time hanging out together.

We love Uncle Aaron's enthusiam for fireworks, it makes for half the fun!

Here Kaylee is on another day sharing Cheetos with Grandpa.
